4. 2040's: Mauism 'rediscovered' and implemented - "Neo-Mauism". 13. 2117: Lake Ontario drained under NAWPA agreements. Region becomes a dust bowl surrounding a pond of liquid mercury, with a Koppen-Spengler Climate Classification of 'Arid-Venusian-Tropical'. Frequent gamma bursts inhibit unprotected outside movement.
