2 STEP 1 - LEARN View this presentation to learn about direct and indirect verbal spin offs. Theme development, both visual and verbal, is used by advertising and marketing professionals. Developing a yearbook theme is a way to develop skills that are highly sought-after in the business world.

3 VERBAL SPIN-OFFS VERBALLY UNIFY THE BOOK
Two types: Direct: Feature key words pulled directly from the theme statement. Conceptual: Relies on the concept introduced by the theme rather than on the words.
