PI PI is a mathematical constant. It is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. The constant, sometimes written pi, is equal to 3.14159. It has been represented by the Greek letter ’’PI’’ since the mid 18 th century.

PI & PIE Compare and Contrast MATH PI This pi is really diferent from the other one. This one is associated with math. Its value is 3.14. EATING PIE This pie is something you eat. Although this pie is circular, we can apply the same concept of finding its circumference.

WHAT I’VE LEARNED I learned that pi is a symbol for math. It has a lot of numbers to it. Instead of using all the numbers, we only use the numbers 3.14. Pi is also a Greek letter.
