Task Card 1 Trace the major events (Time Line) in the Student of the Weeks life by creating a Flow Map Interview the Student of the Week. Depict the major events in their life-include details involved in sub stages. (Add as needed) Frame Question: Which event had the most important impact on the Student Of the Week? Justify your answer.
Task Card 2 Which criteria should be used to select the Student of the Week? Identify the top 5 or more criteria in the Student of the Week by using a tree map. Include details about the criteria and what impact each had on the student of the week. Student of the Week name key details impact on the Student of the Week Frame Question: Which criteria had the most impact in the selection process? How?
Task Card 3 Describe the Student of the Week using adjectives and/or adjective phrases using a bublbe map? Add bubbles as needed. Frame question: What attribute do you value most in this person? Why?
Task Card 4 Use the partial Multi-flow map to establish the reasons this person was chosen to be Student of the Week.. Student Of the Week. Why? Frame Question: Which would be the most important reason that someone would be chosen Student of the Week? Why is it the most important reason?
Task Card 5 Think about the Student of the Week and use a circle map. What are the main character traits that you Admire the most? What could students in the 7 th grade learn from this individual How could this person serve as a mentor for younger students.
Task Card 6 After your group has created their assigned thinking map, the recorder will present the thinking map to the class.
