4 This is the end of the play where there is a real climax to the tragic events which have been building. It represents the end of four more lives (Romeo, Juliet, Paris, Lady Montague). It is also an Act where events become very frantic as characters rush around as the Friar’s plan begins to unravel. This is an explosive ending to the play. In the very final lines, the play ends on a more positive note hopeful of an end to the feud between the two families.
