3. Introduction Wizards, and Witches and Munchkins OH My! These are all items that contributed to the movie “The Wizard of Oz”. This movie was one of the most advanced of it’s time, and it was packed full of “new” technology that opened movie goers to a whole new world!

4. The Task You will need to complete the question sheet about the movie (by yourself!) You will then need to create a short (5-7 slides) powerpoint presentation highlighting one part of the technology that was used in the movie. (draw topic, with group)

5. The Process You will use the websites on the next slide to find answers to the questions and to learn more about the movie “The Wizard of Oz”. Once you have completed the worksheets you will research how one part of the movie used “new” technology for that time. With that research you will complete a powerpoint presentation with a partner.

6. Evaluation You will be graded on 2 different things. You will receive a grade for completing the worksheet. You also will receive a grade for based on the rubric provided for you. (You will receive a rubric when finished with worksheet)
