7 Tony invests £3000 for 3 years at 4% per annum compound interest
Tony invests £3000 for 3 years at 4% per annum compound interest. How much money is in the account after 3 years? Find the compound interest, to the nearest penny, when £3000 is invested for 3 years at 4% per annum. Mr & Mrs Evans estimate that during any year their furniture depreciates in value by 24% of its value at the beginning of that year. Initially the value of the furniture was £5000. Find the value of the furniture at the end of 3 years of depreciation. Give your answer to the nearest £100.

8 3(4x – 7) = 4x + 15 3x – 7 = 8 5x + 7 = 39 - 3x 4(x – 3) = 20
Solve the equation : 3(4x – 7) = 4x + 15 3x – 7 = 8 5x + 7 = x 4(x – 3) = 20
