3 The co-teaching classrooms move at a slower pace Follows same curriculum map as grade level class Teachers plan together-must stay on track Children not “bored” due to differentiation

4 All the “slow” and/or “low” students are put into the co-teaching class General ed. Classroom-students of ALL abilities are present Class is differentiated to meet individual needs Children are not “labeled” by being in a co-teaching class

5 Children are distracted by having more than one adult in the classroom Allows for more one- on-one and small- group instruction Always someone available to help Expert instruction based on area of expertise
