4 ON THE FIRST DAY… Log on to the course. Be sure you understand the policies and assignments.

5 GENERAL GUIDELINES Complete and submit all assignments  Follow directions  Due dates Acceptable Use Policy Ask questions!!!

6 TIME MANAGEMENT TIPS Learn the online environment Manage your time!!! Reference pages Deadlines Ask if you need help!!!

7 PREPARATION TIPS Think before you send.  Different from verbal  Be thoughtful! USE UPPER AND LOWER CASE!!! Participate in class discussions. Act as if you are in a regular classroom.

9 ACADEMIC INTEGRITY VIOLATION: Any student who submits work that is plagiarized will receive a written warning via a message within the course. Parents will be notified via or phone. Further plagiarism will result in immediate removal from the course. Academic Summer School Handbook
