PwC About PwC Saratoga HR Effectiveness Survey PwC Saratoga Survey combines objective data to help organizations understand workforce performance and return on human capital investment Data is collected on more than 100 unique metrics covering a wide array of HR related topics like Workforce productivity Recruitment Learning & Development Compensation & Benefits Span of control HR function effectiveness In 2011 survey the results are based on data submitted by 47 companies operating in Russia; more than 150 companies in Europe and more than 300 organizations in US. 2 Thoughts based on Saratoga results

PwC Conclusion 13.4% 8 Thoughts based on Saratoga results Changing economic conditions continue to evolve affecting resourcing Saving costs has negative impact on recruitment process efficiency however quality of hire continues to improve HR departments appear to be deeply involved in outsourcing of HR activities with less attention to the efficiency of processes outsourced Finally, significant investments in systems improvements across organizations should motivate HR to make the most of these enhancements
