4 Acceptable UseSoftware Privacy Copying software is against the law! Just like copying CDs and movies. Schools must have a appropriately license to be able to use it in the network. As teachers we are responsible for how students use media! Code of ethics: Create a document that explains what is expected from both parents and students. 5 The Digital DivideCyber Bullying Cyber Bullying includes bullying through the internet, cell phones, and other devices. 43% of teens have reported being Cyber Bullied in the past year. NCPC have released publications to prevent it. Not all students have equal excess to technology. 6 Freedom of SpeechAcademic Dishonesty Is when students use others work as their own. This has became even easier to do in the digital age. We as citizens of the United States have the right for Freedom of Speech, but this means that not all content is kid friendly. There for it is the schools responsibility to control what students are allowed to do on the internet at school. Ethical Issues
