2 Think globally – act regionally Climate Change is an urgent global topic. From G 20 over Europe to Great Britain, in Counties, towns and villages many people and politicians have realized the need of climate protection. All future activities and measures have to be: Concrete Common Local und regional

3 Green growth needs active regions People, municipalities, politicians, enterprises, craftsmen, banks and regional governments can form alliances for: Saving energy, Improving energy efficiency, Investing in renewable energy, Combining heat and power, Harmonizing supply and demand of power.

4 Green growth needs governmental support Governments on european, and national level have to support renewable energies by: Feed in tariffs, Taxes on greenhouse gases, Funding programmes for renewables, Pro active regional planning. Organizing regional investment vehicles.

5 Ecologic drivers for renewable energies Climate change. Clean air, water and soil. Over use of natural resources. Beauty of the landscape.

6 Economic drivers for renewable energies Strong increase of prices for fossil fuels. High fluctuation of fossil energy prices. Decrease of costs for renewable energy, especially solar energy. Possibility of establishing regional economic power and influence in a more globalized world. More jobs and added value in the city or region.

Additional installation of private photovoltaic modules and solarheat.
