Stage 8: Home Alarm Stage 8 Bay 9 Scenario: You are sleeping in your bed, when all hell breaks loose. Start Position: Lying at P1, hands by your side. Gun is in the box and all spare ammo lying on the table. No mag carriers allowed. Spare ammo must be stowed before leaving P1. Stage Procedure: On the buzzer, retrieve your pistol and engage T1 while lying down. Proceed through the house and engage all remaining threats from cover. Concealment: Not Required. Stage 2 Bay 2 Scenario: Cover, Clear…., Cover, Clear…, Cover, Clear… Start Position: Seated , with your hands on knees. Stage Procedure: On the buzzer, draw and move to P1 (either side of barricade), engage all visible targets from cover. Engage all remaining targets from cover at P2 & P3. Stage 3 Bay 3 Scenario: Starting to fill up your car. You are approached by armed car jackers, demanding your keys and wallet. Start Position: Begin at P1, standing at left rear finder (gas cap area). Stage Procedure: At the buzzer, draw and engage T1. Engage T2 while moving to P2, engage all remaining targets using the car as low cover. Concealment: Required. Stage 4 Bay 4 Scenario: A group of thugs rob you and your partner at gunpoint. While they have you in a surrender position they drag your partner into a car. Now’s the time for action. Once the guys on foot have been taken care of shoot out the tires before taking out the driver and guard. Start Position: Standing at P1, facing up-range, wrist above shoulders. Stage Procedure: On the buzzer, turn, draw and engage T1 while retreating to P2. Engage T2-T5 using cover. Move to P3 and engage steel plates (in any order) before engaging T6-T7 Concealment: Required. Stage 5: Work it Out Stage 5 Bay 5 Scenario: Work it Out. After being backed into a corner, you must work your way out. Start Position: Standing at P1, gun at low ready. Stage Procedure: On the buzzer, engage T1-T2, in tactical sequence, while advancing to P2. Engage all remaining targets in tactical priority using all available cover. Concealment: Required. Stage 6: Stop and Rob Stage 6 Bay 6 Scenario: You are working the late shift at the local convenience store when a group of armed undesirables come to empty the register and help themselves. Start Position: Standing at P1 hand and arms relaxed at your side, pistol in the box, with spare ammo, close the lid. Stage Procedure: On the buzzer, retrieve pistol, engage T1-T3 in tactical priority. Go to low cover, (using table), shooter may move right or left to engage all remaining targets in tactical priority. Concealment: Not Required. Stage 7: Breakfast At South River
Bay 7 Scenario: It’s early Sunday morning and you are eating breakfast with Joe and the guys at the usual restaurant prior to heading over to setup an IDPA match. As Joe looks for the waitress to get more coffee, he notices a group of rough looking guys come into the café. One of the guys continue toward your table while the rest hang back. Un aware of what’s going down, you stand to go pay the bill. While reaching for your wallet you hear, “This is a robbery, give us your wallets and we’re taking the waitress with us!” Joe tells the leader that they can have the wallets but not the waitress. “You throw down your wallet, knock over a chair to get their attention, and react to defend yourself and your friends. Start Position: Standing at P1, hands at your side, wallet in your weak hand. Stage Procedure: On the buzzer, drop the wallet and knock over a chair. Next draw and engage T1 – T2, in tactical sequence, while retreating to cover at P2. From cover P2, engaged T3 – T7 in tactical priority. Concealment: Required. Scoring: Vickers Scored Hits: 14 rounds, 2 each on T1-T7. Bay 2 Scenario: Fight your way out of town. Start Position: Standing at P1, with your hands by your side. Stage Procedure: Engage T1-T4 while advancing. Engage T5 &T6 from P2 using cover. You cannot re-engage T1-T4 after passing 180 degrees of each target. Concealment: Required Scored Hits: 18 rounds, 3 each on T1-T6 Targets: 6 IDPA Penalties: Not engaging T1-T4 while moving. Stage Procedure: At the buzzer, press the button with your strong hand. Then engage T1 & T2 while seated. Engage T3 while retreating to P2. Engage T3 from P2 at low cover. Concealment: Required. Scoring: Vickers Scored Hits: 12 rounds. 3 each on T1–T4 Targets: 4 IDPA Penalties: Not engaging T3 while retreating. Stage 6: Strapped Down Stage 6 Bay 6 Scenario: You’ve been kidnapped and strapped to a chair when the opportunity to escape presents itself. Start Position: Seated at P1 with arms and hands bound. Gun and spare ammo on table. Stage Procedure: On the buzzer, get to the table and retrieve your gun. Engage each target with 3 rounds each. You must point shoot with using sights. Concealment: Not require. Scoring: Vickers Scored Hits: 12 rounds, 3each on T1-T4 Targets: 4 IDPA Penalties: Pulling gun up to eye level and getting a sight picture. Stage 7: Nuclear Football
Bay 9 Scenario: Terrorists have taken the nuclear football and you must assault their safe house to get it back. Start Position: Standing at P1 with strong hand on door knob. Stage Procedure: On the buzzer, open the door with your strong hand and engage all targets from cover. You must retrieve the suitcase and finish engaging all remaining targets with strong hand only while holding the suitcase. Concealment: Not Required.
