6 Original Stated Purpose of DASF to provide an effective forum for the discussion of all matters concerning the development and operation of the airport, which have an impact on users, customers of the airport and on people living and working in surrounding communities

7 Mutual Influence Most people will be willing to join a forum, if they believe it is addressing issues of relevance to them, in order to make friends and influence people. However, the key question is: to what extent and under what conditions are they open to being influence themselves? This is a question that applies to ALL parties who participate (Chris OMalley report)

8 Satisfaction Rating with DASF to Date Most members who responded see some value in participation in the Forum, but not to a level sufficient to guarantee its future continuation (Chris OMalley)

10 Can the Forum have Influence on Decisions? A key concern of DASF survey and interview respondents COM Suggestion the two main decision-making bodies, namely DAA and FCC, might provide a greater degree of clarity about which types of decisions relating to the airport, including its environs and access to it, are to be considered by them to be off- limits, and which are open to being shaped through the input of external stakeholders Input by Dublin Airport Authority Input by Fingal County Council
