5 SOUTH AFRICAN CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY LICENSING REQUIREMENTS FOR ACSA AIRPORTS Requirement for License139.02.1 No person shall operate an aerodrome which serves: Aircraft with maximum certified mass exceeding 5 700 kg used In public air transport operations; Aircraft used in aviation training; Unless in possession of a license. 11 Summary All ACSA airports are fully compliant in terms of International Civil Aviation Organization and SA CAA legislative requirements; Preparedness is tested by conducting Full scale emergency exercises and desk top exercises as per ICAO/SA CAA requirements; Compliance to existing standards at ACSA airports is ensured by conduct of regular internal audits and inspections; Compliance to existing standards at ACSA airports is ensured by conduct of SA CAA licensing inspections and oversight inspections;
