5 Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council, Inc. Permanent Supportive Housing The Council prepares grant requests on behalf of units of local government for the CoC Rental Assistance Programs (Legacy Shelter Plus Care Grants). Indian River, St. Lucie and Martin County are the applicants for the CoC Rental Assistance Program. New Horizons, Project Response, Mental Health Association, St. Lucie County Veterans Services, FACT, and various other agencies provide case management and supportive services as match. HUD Certified Housing Counseling Agency Housing Counseling Services During 2012, Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council, Inc. became a HUD Certified Housing Counseling Agency. In November 2012, the Council expanded their services to provide rental housing, foreclosure mitigation, and budget counseling. TCHSC was awarded the HUD Housing Counseling Grant for 2012-2013. NSP Property Management 13 Units available to Low Income households – at or below 50% of AMI 5 Houses available to Moderate Income households – at or below 120% of AMI Partner Agencies Every Dream Has a Price Breath of Heaven Homeless Family Center NAMI Indian River County Section 8 Program 49 individuals occupy these 18 housing units. Rent amounts range from $217 to $800.
