Making it agree…. In Spanish, every noun has a gender. – This does NOT mean that everything is either a boy or a girl! All adjectives must agree with the noun they are describing in both number and gender.
If the color ends in a consonant… Look at the noun it is describing. If the noun is singular (only one object) – Leave the ending alone. If the noun is plural (more than one object) – Add –es
If the color ends in an E… Look at the noun it is describing. If the noun is singular (only one object) – Leave the ending alone. If the noun is plural (more than one object) – Add –s
If the color ends in an O… First look at the gender of the noun. – Ex – la casa – (feminine) Then decide whether it is singular or plural. – Ex – la casa – (singular) Add the ending that matches both the gender and the number.
