5 Veterans helping Veterans The American Legion is the largest veterans organization in America Disabled veterans and all veterans in need receive support and assistance from our many programs Operation Comfort Warrior program provides non-governmental aid to troops. Comfort items such as phone calling cards, iPods, laptops, personal DVD players and sweat pants help troops around the world. Members meet and greet veterans returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan Sponsorship and support of programs to help veterans find jobs and start businesses

Eight $1,000 scholarships to Regional Players and $2,000 scholarship to American Legion Player of the Year. George W Rulon Award winner invited to the National Baseball Hall of Fame Game.
