4 Irek Zaripov Ayratovich (bashk. Irek Zaripov Airat uly) (born March 27, 1983, Sterlitamak, Bashkiria, USSR) - Russian athlete, Honored Master of Sports, four-times champion of the Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver in 2010. Biography A pupil of SK "Idel" (the first coach - Mr Gabdullin). He graduated from a high school and a professional of the Bashkir Economics College of Law. In 2000, after a car accident he was amputated both legs. Since 2005, has been standing for high sports school of the Republic of Bashkortostan (coach – Mr Gumerov). Since 2005 - member team of the Paralympic team in Russia. A student of the Ural Academy of Physical Culture. He is married. March 21, 2008 has a son of Aynur. He represented Sterlitamak at the Third World Kurultai Bashkirs in June 2010 [2] Since 2010 - the first vice-president of the Federation of Physical Culture and Sports of Russian handicaps Sporting achievements Gold - Russian Championship 2009 - 1st place (5 km) Silver - World Cup 2009 - 2nd place Gold - Winter Paralympic Games in 2010 - 1st place (biathlon, 2, 4 km ind. ) Gold - Winter Paralympic Games in 2010 - 1st place (skiing, 15 km.) Gold - Winter Paralympic Games in 2010 - 1st place (biathlon, 12.5 km.) Gold - Winter Paralympic Games in 2010 - 1st place (skiing, 10 km.) Silver - Winter Paralympic Games in 2010 - 2nd place (cross country skiing, 1 km.) Awards Dmitry Medvedev and Irek Zaripov at the reception party where he was awarded the Order of Merits to Fatherlan, IV degree, for outstanding contribution to the development of physical culture and sports, high athletic achievements at the X Paralympic Winter Games, 2010 in Vancouver (Canada). Honored Master of Sports of Russia (2010) Order Merits to Republic of Bashkortostan" (2010) Certificate of Merit of the Republic of Bashkortostan (April 24, 2006) - for high sports results at the XX Olympic and IX Paralympic Games in 2006.
