Fig S1. Recombinant human galectin-2, -4 an d-8 induce cytokine secretion from mouse vein endothelial cells. C57BL/6 mouse vein endothelial cells (MVECs) (from Cell Biologics, IL) were treated with 1.5μg/ml recombinant human galectin-2, -4, -8 or BSA for 24 hr at 370C before the G-CSF (A), IL-6 (B), GROα ( C) and MCP-1 (D) levels in the culture media were determined by individual mouse cytokine ELISA. The data are expressed as percentage compared with BSA-treated controls. *p<0.05, **p<0.01 (ANOVA, Bonferroni).
