3 We recommend sitting the full Gas Engineer Plus course Gas Engineer Plus FINISHBACK The course is comprised of: 200 hours of home study. 20 days practical and theory in centre training broken into four 1 week modules. Work placement. A three day revision course. Up to four days assessment. Full tutor support throughout the course. Full cost: £4975 inc. VAT Accommodation can be arranged at an extra cost.

10 Category Three Category three candidates do not have relevant qualifications to allow them entry to ACS. You: Are not confident with gas Have limited experience Feel that your knowledge may be lacking in some areas OR Are confident working with gas Have extensive experience Have a good knowledge of the subjects for ACS, and would just like to become qualified Category Three FINISHBACK

11 Category Two Category two candidates hold qualifications relevant to the area of work they are seeking to gain certification in. They will need to sit some training before applying for their ACS. Category Two Gas Training Recommended Route FINISHBACK

12 Category One Category three candidates are experienced gas engineers and have already held gas qualifications. You can go straight through for assessments if you wish.
