1 ARE YOUR STUDENTS THE PROTAGONISTS OF YOUR TEACHING?

2 How much is enough? … it is the quality and quantity of the input to which learners are exposed which is the single most important factor in their progress Michael Lewis

3 Can they relate to what you teach? Whenever learners produce language, it should be for the purpose of expressing some kind of meaning… the usefulness of mechanical drills for promoting either acquisition or productive abilities is questionable Bill VanPatten

4 Identify clear purposes Do not go on and on but in and in during a task Rehearse what you want to see happening What will the students get out of this…. What is the drive? You work towards teaching or towards learning? Do your students know what are they required to internalize?
