1 CCF MRP Update to the 3GPP2 Steering Committee
October 3GPP2 Super Meeting Sapporo, Japan

2 Our Mission The CDMA Certification Forum is a partnership of vendors and operators worldwide that develop and maintain test and certification standards to meet prescribed international conformance requirements. CCF Certification benefits Fast track through operators testing process: Using the CCF process allows vendors to uncover issues with their devices before they go through operators' processes or hit the market. Consistency: Using the same test process for all devices ensures that they all conform to the same standards. Minimized duplication and cost: Because the test results generated meet most operators' basic needs worldwide, vendors can use these results for multiple operators. Minimized test time: The efficient streamlined process greatly reduces certification time, and hence shortens time-to-market. The tests are conducted by qualified test facilities and provide the most appropriate level of test coverage under automated, repeatable, and controllable test conditions.

3 Certification Working Group
The Organization CCF Board of Directors Certification Working Group Authorize labs and oversees device certification process Technical Working Group Develops and maintains CCF test plans Steering Committee Led by CDMA operators and device vendors Board Chair: Sierra Wireless Board Vice-Chair: Verizon Wireless President: Qualcomm General Manager: Bruce Jolly, CCF Secretary: Jerry Carr, CCF Chair: CCF Co-Chairs: Spirent & RIM Co-Chair: Aeroflex A global forum consisting of leading organizations within the telecommunications industry working towards improving the way devices are tested and prepared for commercialization. 3
