1 Endometrial stromal progesterone receptor-A/progesterone receptor-B ratio: no difference between women with and without endometriosis  Davide Gentilini, Ph.D., Paola Vigano, Ph.D., Michele Vignali, M.D., Mauro Busacca, M.D., Paola Panina-Bordignon, Ph.D., Elvira Caporizzo, Ph.D., Anna Maria Di Blasio, M.D.  Fertility and Sterility  Volume 94, Issue 4, Pages (September 2010) DOI: /j.fertnstert Copyright © 2010 American Society for Reproductive Medicine Terms and Conditions

2 Figure 1 Reverse transcriptase quantitative polymerase chain reaction analysis of total mRNA extracted from samples derived from women with and without endometriosis with use of probes specific for PR-B or amplifying both PR-A and PR-B (A). Samples also have been subgrouped depending on the phase of the menstrual cycle (B). For each experimental sample, data have been indicated graphically as ratio between relative expression of PR-A and PR-B isoforms. Western blot analysis for PR-A (94 kDa) and PR-B (116 kDa) isoforms (C). Relative intensity of each band was determined by densitometry and has been graphically illustrated as ratio between relative expression of PR-A and PR-B isoforms (D).
