Summer 2017 consultation of the codelist MS were requested to propose additions to the list of units Proposed additions: wintering individuals; number of map 2x2 km grids; relative units: abundance (number of individuals per unit of distance or area), density (number of individuals per unit of area or volume; catch per unit effort (CPUE)) , biomass (mass of individuals per unit of area) ooccurrence (proportion of sample plots with proven presence of the species) Next steps: Finalise the codelist in October 2017

23 Reporting tool (1) The work on the reporting tool is ongoing and the 1st test versions are expected in October 2017 The tool from the previous reporting will be re-used and adapted as needed. Edit checklist Add new report Edit report Compare reports Import reports Edit notes Validate report

24 Reporting tool (2) Tools used for the previous reporting will be adapted to match new formats - adding new fields/section updating fields and labels in the reporting - tool - updating look-up tables - upgrading MS Access tool to MS Office 2010 format (so the MS Access reporting tools will be functional with MS Windows 8- and 10) - updating data validation (QAQC) rules

25 Reporting tool (3) Some new or improved functionalities are foreseen (depending on timing and resources): Enable importing data from the previous reporting round Enable duplicating a report (full report or a region) Improving filtering and orientation options (e.g. filter by unfinished reports, filter / order by species codes or taxonomical group, bring cursor back to last position ) Replace interactive QAQC with a user triggered Extend function to compare two reports (highlighting differences), Provide DOC/PDF export features for Access reports Extend notes function (images, links) or statistics function
