4 Effects negative sense of self eating disorders we buy the things from the advertisement influence the personal style wish to be perfect

5 INTERVIEW We made an interview in the city of Linz with the following questions:

6 Do you think you see yourself different than other people? our generation (<25)parents generation (25-55) Older generation (55+) Yes, they notice everything on themself, and compare themselves to others. 70% per cent say YES, because they want to be pretty and want to wear the latest fashion. 30% per cent say NO. No, because they arent influenced by the latest fashion and they dont care about their look.

7 Are more and more younger children influenced by social media and TV soaps which arent made for their age? our generation (<25)parents generation (25- 55) older generation ( 55+) Yes, because of that that we drink alcohol and smoke earlier. Yes, but its the parents fault because they allow it. Yes, the younger generation has a different appearence in public.

8 Do you pay more attention if there is an attractive person from the other gender in an advertisement? our generation (<25)parents generation (25- 55) older generation (55+) Yes, because without beautiful people they wouldnt pay so much attention to the spot. Yes. Some say no, because it depends on the product.

9 Do you think people use the typical stereotype of women and men for advertisment? our generation (<25)parents generation (25- 55) older generation (55+) Yes. woman: houswifes and models men: strong and beefily Not always, but often. Yes, because people want to see these stereotypes.

10 What are the typical chlichés of WOMEN in the media? our generation (<25)parents generation (25-55) older generation (55+) naive bimbo culivated young housewife talking much slim drama queen sexy beautiful young

11 What are the typical chlichés of MEN in the media? our generation (<25)parents generation (25-55) older generation (55+) successful beefily independet sportive brave self confident aggressiv strong assertive distant heroic sixpack cultivated unemotional easily influenced by women strong dominant successful

12 Do you get influenced by the ideals in the media? our generation (<25)parents generation (25-55) older generation (55+) Yes, because the youth cant really escape these media. No, they already found their own style. No, because they dont notice the latest trends.
