1 SAMPLE TURN

2 Sample Three Player Starting Setup. After each player has selected their army and five Starting Troops, The remaining tiles are mixed and placed face-down in stacks of three.

3 Choose starting positions. Starting with the humans, each player chooses a starting position on the edge of the board. If no one chooses to play the humans, the starting player is chosen randomly.

4 Choose a location for combat. In this game the humans begin by choosing a location for combat. Since combat can only occur orthogonally (not diagonally) the only viable location is A. A

5 Choose a number of fighters for combat. the humans choose to attack with three fighters.

6 Match up the enemy tiles. Beginning with the top tile, the enemy is matched up with the humans chosen fighters.

7 Compare attack and defense numbers. Beginning with the FIRST tile, compare the attack and defense numbers. Since the first and second human fighters have aid the player decides to combine their attack numbers to fight the ghoul.

8 attack and defense numbers- part two. The human aid fighters have a combined attack of 8 and easily kill the ghoul. The ghoul will also apply his attack to one of the humans. The human player chooses to block with the level 5 fighter and thus saves both the level 3 and level 5 fighters for later.

9 attack and defense numbers- part three. The humans still have both Aid fighters alive and now they face the zombie. The zombie has the fast trait and applies his attack first. The humans choose to again block with the level 5 fighter. Since both aid fighters are alive, they combine their attack and kill the zombie. The humans now control this space.

10 Dispensing and moving surviving tiles. the human player places the surviving tiles in the newly acquired space. He may now move and rearrange his face-up tiles. The tiles may only move the number of spaces equal to its level.

11 End of turn. After rearranging and moving tiles, the humans turn is over and play moves clockwise around the table. In this case it is the ghoul players turn. He starts his turn by choosing a location for combat.
