Few TNF-α–positive cells were detected in the stromal region of endometriotic lesions (A′ [antide] and C′ [PBS]) and in connective tissue (B′ [recombinant human TNF-binding protein-1 (rhBP-1)]) in both treated and control groups. No positive immunohistochemical staining for TNF-α was detected in the epithelial or glandular regions from the endometriosis lesions in both treated groups (A [antide] or B [recombinant human TNF-binding protein-1 (rhTBP-1)]) and control groups (C [PBS]).
