2 2 Welcome to the Standards-based Report Card Administrators Guide This guide is intended to supplement the Users Guide to the Standards-based Report Card System. It is designed to highlight the features of the system available only to school administrators. This guide covers the following features: How to run a school-wide summary report How to print the paper Report Cards and Interim Progress Reports Review Interim Reporting by grade

3 3 The Login Screen Enter your iNotes username and password. Click Sign in. Your name password

4 4 Select Progress Reporting The Home Screen

5 5 Select Standards-based Report Card The Reporting Screen

6 6 Printing Report Cards On the Desktop Menu Select the Print Menu link.

7 7 Printing Report Cards This is the print report cards menu. You may select to print report cards or interim progress reports.

8 8 Loading Report Card Paper Identify and locate Lanier copier.

9 9 Loading Report Card Paper Load paper with dark district logo face down and to the back of the paper tray.

10 10 Loading Report Card Paper Load 11 x 17 colored paper into 11 x 17 paper tray.

11 11 Marking Period 1st = Pink 2 nd = Blue 3 rd = Green 4 th = Yellow Report Card paper is color-coded by marking period. Loading Report Card Paper Remember the dark logo is now face down and to the back of the drawer

12 12 Printing Report Cards Make homeroom selections to prepare computer and copier for printing.

13 13 Printing Report Cards You have an option of generating report cards by homeroom (up to 3 for each run) in either English or Spanish. A report card may also be generated for a specific student by entering student id number.

14 14 Printing Report Cards, cont. The system will generate reports for those selected homerooms. When complete, a new browser window will pop up. Use the print icon to print the report cards. BE PATIENT!

15 15 Printing Report Cards, cont. After clicking on the print icon, this window comes up. You must set the properties of the printer before the report cards will print properly. Click on the Properties button at the top. Lanier 5635 or 5645 Or Lanier 5455

16 16 SETUP TAB Job Type = Normal Copies = 1 Orientation = Landscape Collate = Off Layout = 1 page per sheet Duplex = Open to Left–5635/45 Side Binding – 5455 Printing Report Cards, cont. Click Paper Tab Lanier

17 17 Printing Report Cards PAPER TAB Set document size = 11 x 17 Check off Fit to print Size Print Size = 11 x 17 Click the OK button to return to printing screen. Click OK to print.

18 18 Printing Report Cards Do not leave the copier unattended during printing process!

19 19 Printing Report Cards Final product ready for distribution or folding.

20 20 Desktop Selection Screen Click the picture below the school administration text.

21 21 School Admin Features Page Select an option by clicking on the little circle next to the feature that you wish to view. Then click the OK button.

22 22 Updating Students Second Language Select the second language drop down box and choose the students languagei.e. Spanish, Russian, Chinese, etc. Select save changes.

23 23 The School Summary Report Use the scroll bar to see the entire report. Note the buttons on the bottom of the page including one which allows the ability to print this report.

24 24 School Counselor Function Click the picture below the school counselor text.

25 25 School Counselor Function Select the class from the dropdown menu.

26 26 School Counselor Function You may promote the individual, select their second language, request a conference, and make comments.

27 27 Review Grade Reporting Click the picture below the review grade reporting text.

28 28 Review Grade Reporting Select the appropriate school and teacher name and click the Next button.

29 29 Review Grade Reporting You may choose to either review by classes or by homeroom.

30 30 Interim Progress Report Summary Select School Administration Icon.

31 31 Interim Progress Report Summary Select School Summary (Interim)

32 32 Interim Progress Report Summary Select your school from the drop down list.

33 33 Interim Progress Report Summary Report can be sent to the printer or saved. Please Note! All Interims should be done at the time of printing.

34 34 How do I print Interims? Remember you can return to the icons page by clicking on the SBRC Home link.

35 35 How do I print Interims? Select the Print Menu

36 36 How do I print Interims? Click on Print Interim Progress Reports. Interim Progress Reports can be printer on 8 ½ x 11 paper.

37 37 Intervention Tracking System ITS Administrators Guide The intervention tracking system is based on the CMSDs PROMOTION POLICY.* *Refer to pages 22-23 in Implementing Standards- Based Education & Promotion Teacher Guide to ECC.desktop. Intervention Tracking

38 38 LOG-IN SCREEN Call the Help Desk at 432-6232 for iNotes username or password help Enter your iNotes username Enter your iNotes password Click the login button blablabla

39 39 Select Assessments from the menu Select Intervention Status

40 40 Click on drop down arrow and click on choice.

41 41 Click to see interventions assigned to students.

43 43 A multi-paged pdf document will appear indicating the reasons and suggested interventions to take place. The pdf document can be saved or printed as you so desire.

44 44 Select the School ADDING INTERVENTIONS Click Add/Edit Interventions Begin checking off available intervention programs at your school. Be sure to SAVE when complete.

45 45 Once interventions have been added/edited, staff may begin Requesting Interventions. After all interventions have been requested, the administrator or designee may begin the approval process.

46 46 Approval or denial of an intervention request is done quickly by grade level.

47 47 A complete listing of requested interventions for that grade level will appear. The status column will indicate an intervention has been requested. Click on Approve or Deny Remember to SAVE!

48 48 A listing of teachers will appear. Select a teacher. An Administrator may also request interventions for students for a particular teacher or class. Click on Request Intervention.

49 49 Teacher name and courses assigned appear along with homeroom. Select a course to work with.

50 50 All of the students of the selected class will be shown with identified reason for intervention(s). Click Edit to assign, delete or approve/deny interventions. Request Add/Edit Interventions

51 51 Approve, deny or add additional interventions. SAVE Click to go back to the student listing. Approve Interventions

52 52 Clicking on Back takes you back to the student listing for that class. Request Add/Edit Interventions
