doc.: IEEE /1367r0 Submission November 2008 Jon Rosdahl, CSRSlide 2 Abstract This document contains the comments received and the recommended resolutions for the ad PAR submission to 802 EC.

doc.: IEEE /1367r0 Submission November 2008 Jon Rosdahl, CSRSlide 3 Feedback Received on ad PAR from It is noted that IEEE Std includes PICS proforma, and believed that these have consistently been included with the initial addition of functionality to the base standard. The WG is asked to consider including a commitment to provide PICS on enhancements such as this within the project documents.

doc.: IEEE /1367r0 Submission November 2008 Jon Rosdahl, CSRSlide 4 Proposed Response to has included a statement into 8.1. We have added to the end of the last sentence : –…which will include a PICS proforma.

doc.: IEEE /1367r0 Submission November 2008 Jon Rosdahl, CSRSlide 5 Feedback received on adPAR from It would appear that would like to modify the general language for coexistance to be included in the scope and is now recommending the following language for coexistence: –Devices complying with this amendment shall minimally impact the operation of and devices, along with other 802 wireless devices, already operating in the same bands. Currently the VHT PAR uses the following language: –Provides mechanisms that enable coexistence with other systems in the band including IEEE c systems Request that VHT modify this language to the below to reflect 's current thinking. –Devices complying with this amendment shall minimally impact the operation of and c devices, along with other 802 wireless devices, already operating in the same bands.

doc.: IEEE /1367r0 Submission November 2008 Jon Rosdahl, CSRSlide 6 Response to recognizes the inconsistency in the submitted wording suggested for the coexistence portion of the scope statement by our feedback group would request that use the same language that was crafted jointly by lengthy discussion and disregard pages 13 & 15 of 08/1351r0 of our comments to the group. We suggest that both g and ad use the same language from the ad PAR which was the actual intent despite the error of what got passed to
