Boomers Summary Births declining and population ageing. Life Expectancy increasing but increase in Healthy Life Expectancy not keeping pace. Cancer on the increase but survival improving. Hospital admissions and deaths from other conditions declining for baby boomers. Obesity a problem for both sexes – alcohol related problems on the increase for females.
