3 the i-Collector starts with a simple storage rack consisting of a matrix of glide rails. Individual trays filled with your products move by sliding on the glide-rail. On either end of the glide-rail matrix are transfer devices (actuator) that can hold multiple trays each. The two actuators move simultaneously to the same glide-rail. Once at a glide- rail, a simple pusher on the actuator pushes the trays into the glide-rail on one end causing an equal number of trays on the opposite end to be released from the glide-rail onto the opposite actuator. The actuator delivers the trays to a picking station * and then moves to the next glide-rail position. The i-Collector can be utilized in multiple configurations to fulfill your item-order picking needs: batch-in/mixed-out, mixed-in/batch-out or even mixed-in/mixed-out, the i-Collector can handle these configurations regardless size, irregular shape or type of packaging. * there are 3 types of picking stations (option): A- low capacity / B- medium capacity with buffer / C- high capacity with buffer general description PATENT PENDING
