Implementation of Green Energy for HVAC of Multi- Use Public Facility Josh Bouchie Dylan Kugler Tim MacIsaac Duncan MacRae

Design Identification Implementation of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system in a health care facility Utilization of multiple systems to fill requirements and standards of ASHRAE

Background Information Research into ASHRAE requirements Analyzing different systems for heating, ventilating and air conditioning Examined Floridas climate

The Ginsburg tower is a 15 story existing hospital in downtown Florida. It contains 440 patient beds and one of the largest Emergency Departments in the United States. The mechanical equipment we choose for our design will be located in an adjacent mechanical plant that we can design to our liking.

Engineering Solution Ensuring environmental regulations are met Finding efficient and cost effective way to implement and maintain an HVAC system Hospitals and peoples health are always going to be in demand

Problem Solving Ventilation Design - major areas requiring different air flows Heating/Air Conditioning Design - different areas are operated around the clock as opposed to some areas only open during working hours

Project Specifications Designing an HVAC system for the following major areas: Lobby and Reception Emergency Room Food and Service Area Gift Shop Diagnostic Imaging Patient Rooms Conference Rooms Common Areas
