In addition to the “Optional” excursions offered on the EF itinerary, your Tour Director will likely have his/her own local connections and be able to offer extra activities not already included in your itinerary. You might care to mention that being conservative and just doing the basics does cost less than the suggested amounts listed. We find it’s better to overestimate just in case.

Divide monthly payment by 30 to get the amount per day it would be. Even though EF doesn’t take daily payments, it’s a great way to think about it in very manageable terms.
