You use the book but additional thought “from your brain” is needed. Takes the reader through the text. Why, how, so what? Verbs: Evaluate Generalize Imagine Judge Predict Speculate If/then Hypothesize Forecast

4 Level 3: Brain Verbs: Compare Contrast Sort Distinguish
Apply information This requires you to take what you already know and extend the information past the book. Outside thought is required. Allows the reader to analyze the relationship between this text and other texts, ideas, events, etc. How are these similar, different, related?? Verbs: Compare Contrast Sort Distinguish Explain (Why???) Infer Analyze
