2 Why am I in hospital? I came to Mayfield in …………………...
I came to Mayfield because I was finding things difficult at home. I was upset and angry a lot of the time I came to Mayfield to get help to feel better.

3 Why am I in hospital? There are lots of people who work at Mayfield. They are called the staff. The staff want to find out how best to help me The staff talk with me, work with me and watch me The staff work with me and my family to find out how best to help me. This might take some time.

4 Why am I in hospital? I have been working well with staff at Mayfield
I am doing more things with the staff I have been working hard at not getting too angry or upset

5 Why am I in hospital? The staff are worried that I might hurt myself
The staff are worried that I might hurt other people The staff want me to stay in Mayfield until I am really better

6 Having a compulsory treatment order
I have a compulsory treatment order. This is sometimes called a CTO The CTO is important The CTO says where I need to stay The CTO says who needs to work with me

7 Having a compulsory treatment order
The staff think that I need a CTO for a longer time. My CTO says I need to work with staff at Mayfield. My CTO says I need to stay in Mayfield. I am not ready to move yet.

Sometimes having a CTO can be confusing I can ask staff about my CTO I can get an advocate to help me speak out I can appeal the CTO if I am not happy. ?

10 What happens next? I will stay in Mayfield
