Math:
We have been working on simple addition and subtraction. We will now start working on more advanced concepts of addition. We will also continue working on saying and writing our numbers to 120.
Science:
We have watched a video about the sun and how it is a power source for heat and light. We will explore this concept more through books and other activities.
October 20th-1st Grading Period ends
October 20th-Picture Retake Day
October 23rd-No School
October 24th-2nd Grading Period Begins
October 27th-Report Cards go home n
Language Arts
We will continue working on reading and comprehending what we’ve read. List #3 in our sight word books will be assessed before the end of the grading period if it isn’t already mastered.

We will start using an app/program here at school that you have free access to at home. It is called Reflex Math. The Icon looks like the picture shown. It can also be access on a PC by logging into To login, type in ‘dawgs’ into the user name. It should bring you to my name Schofield, click it to find your child’s name. Their password is their lunch number. z

If you are self contained- Page 1 & 3 may be your best bet and copy them back to back!
Before printing, go to save as  change file format to PDF  rename it  hit save. This will allow it to print correctly!
Another option is to upload this to your class website so all of the students will have access to this newsletter at home. It can also serve as a study guide for the week! Hope this helps!! 
