2 Hey What?!

3 The Key Club Pledge I pledge, on my honor, to uphold the objects of Key Club International; to build my home, school and community; to serve my nation and God; and combat all forces which tend to undermine these institutions.

4 Scrapbook Committee WE NEED PICTURES!!!
Come join key club's scrapbook committee. We meet every Monday and Tuesday from 2:30 to 3:30. We gather photos from events and socials from the key club members and compile them in a handmade scrapbook that will compete with others in the Texas-Oklahoma district convention. Even if you don't join the scrapbook committee, you can help make the scrapbook possible and earn donation hours by sending in your school appropriate photos of service projects or socials to WE NEED PICTURES!!!

5 Candy Sale! When? April 19th FINAL DEADLINE What? 1 bag of candy= 1 physical hour (max of 5) Each piece costs $1 (MUST RETURN BAG WITH $15 in it) How? Check Out Bags in Mrs. Vanmiddendorp’s Room After School

6 You joined Key Club… now what?
You need… service hours (10 of which much be physical) 2. 2 social credits 3. Have missed 2 or less meetings throughout the semester ( 1st and 3rd Wed. either 6:35 or 2:40) Your hours/social credits start over every semester! *If you didn’t meet these requirements, you are considered an inactive member and the semester will not count for you.

7 Senior Stoles FINAL DEADLINE FOR MONEY AND ARTICLE IS APRIL 12TH.
Write in the comments of the event you are hosting “Host”. Only ONE HOST per event! It’s a first come first serve basis! You must come pick up your sign in sheet 2 days before your event from Mrs. Garcia’s room 3006. Must be in Key Club for the past three consecutive semesters Arrive 10min before and stay 10min after your event. Monitor the behavior of others and set a good example. Lead the other officers and help answer any questions they may have during the event. Make sure to help the event coordinator. Write a 400 word article about your overall experience in Key Club. Pay $18 dollars to Mrs. Garcia in envelope with your name and stole. FINAL DEADLINE FOR MONEY AND ARTICLE IS APRIL 12TH. FINAL DEADLINE FOR HOSTING IS MAY 5TH.

8 Dance Marathon: When? April 13th, from 5-9pm, in the cafeteria What? Activities, dancing, food, performances, patient visit and more! All profits go to Children’s Miracle Network! To Do: $10 fee to room 3006 by FRIDAY To Bring: Money for pizza ($2/slice) and song requests ($1/song)

9 Canned Food Drive driver’s
Help us build the tallest canned food tower at DCON! You can sign up to donate on signupgenius. 5 cans counts as 1 donation hour. All cans MUST be brought to room 3006 afterschool on April 17th ONLY. NO CANS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT ANY OTHER TIME/LOCATION. driver’s

11 Participate in Cancer Week!
Dressing up for 2 days and donating $2 at lunch is worth 1 physical hour Dressing up for 5 days and donating $5 at lunch is worth 2 physical hours Help out a great cause with some fun along the way. Picture proof and a ribbon are REQUIRED for credit!

12 DCON Reminders (REQUIRED)
Join the Remind101, by to 81010 us a profile picture at Medical Release/Code of Conduct forms are due to room 3006 by THIS FRIDAY. Rooming assignments will be sent out via Remind101 by 4pm today

13 Banquet  Join us on May 12th, from 6pm-9pm, in the Cy-Ranch Commons to celebrate the service you’ve done over the past year! This event will include: Service and DCON Celebration Dinner Presidential Service Award Ceremony Senior Stole Ceremony Officer Retirement and Induction Sponsor Recognition Dancing and PhotoBooth Tickets cost $15, and are limited to the first 100 people, so purchase them quickly! Ticket sales START April 11th in Mrs. Vanmiddendorp’s Room & END April 25th.

15 How do I get my hours? Make an account on the website! Under “Find A Sign Up” Search: Use this website throughout the year in order to sign up for volunteer opportunities! Also, constantly be checking your , FB page, our website and Remind101 for alerts on new events!

16 The semester is almost over! Get your requirements done!!

17 General Reminders: 1) You may NOT sign up friends for events
2) Check your schedule BEFORE signing up for events; no last minute cancellations or no-shows! 3) Only drop off donation drive materials, money bags, etc. to the CORRECT CLASSROOM and BEFORE/AFTER SCHOOL and WHEN THE TEACHER IS PRESENT.

18 BRING YOUR SERVICE CARDS!
If you do not have your service card with you at the meeting YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT FOR YOUR ATTENDANCE! The little dates on the back are to be stamped by our officers  If you need your service card signed for an event or social you volunteered at/attended, fill out the date, event name, number of hours, etc. and THEN the president, vps, or supervisors will sign it for you!
