SITUATION
Above the Treeline’s suite of services (Edelweiss) for the publishing industry was growing fast and expanding internationally. Publishers integrated their sales and marketing workflows into Edelweiss, and it soon became a mission critical part of their business. As a result, Above the Treeline needed to scale up its ability to serve more users as well as provide a system that would be up and available 24x7. In addition, it needed to meet the security standards that international customers expected.

SOLUTION
Above the Treeline moved its entire hosting infrastructure to Azure from a dedicated server model. Leveraging Redis cache, the Azure Content Delivery Network, and geo-redundant storage, the Edelweiss application is distributed for improved availability and more efficient access for international users. European Union users also get the assurance of knowing their content is stored in an EU Security Compliant Data Center.
