1 A-D: PA, oblique, lateral, and scaphoid views of the right wrist show a subtle fracture through the scaphoid waist. The fracture is seen best on the scaphoid and PA views (arrowhead). If a fracture of the scaphoid is suspected, it is worth obtaining an additional dedicated scaphoid view because it is often the view which best delineates the fracture. Lateral and scaphoid views of the same wrist. Source: Chapter 9. Upper Extremity, The Atlas of Emergency Radiology Citation: Block J, Jordanov MI, Stack LB, Thurman R.
