3 What You Need to Know School begins at 8:10
Send notes the next day when absent. Join PTO Planning Period- 1:00-1:45 Conferences- a link will be sent out on Friday

4 Agenda Bring everyday Check for homework assignments and notes from teacher Graded assignments will be sent home on Thursdays. Make sure to sign any “Parent Signature” papers.

7 Grades Grading Policy-
50 % Major Grades (Only required to have 3 per nine weeks) Reassessments only on Major Grades below a 75 50 % Daily Grades Grades below 75 will be sent home for signatures on Thursday. There are no more “D” grades Projects 10 points deducted if late after due date. After 5 days, grade will be recorded as a 0.

8 Homework Policy Homework –Reading log and math log is assigned every night. Dojo points will be awarded for the completion of homework. A Math Log (reflex math) Reading for 20+ minutes and sign Reading Log Spelling : Only 2-3 tests per nine weeks (Daily Grade) – Get to 50 Activities due day of test. Book Projects ( 1st one due 10/12) Instructions will be sent home for any other class projects

9 Tardies Tardies For elementary students, a student arriving after 8:10 AM will be considered tardy. If a student has five (5) or more tardies in a grading period, he/she will receive an “N” (Needs Improvement) on his/her report card under the appropriate conduct section. As our school policy states: A student with 5 or more tardies in a semester will be issued a 30 minute before or after school detention and be reported to our Fort Bend ISD truancy officer. After each additional 3 tardies, the student will be issued another 30 minute before or after school detention and another report will be made to the Fort Bend ISD truancy officer.

11 Science Safety, Scientific Process (on going)
