2. “Hey, detective Reynolds. ’’ shouted detective Clifford
“Hey, detective Reynolds!’’ shouted detective Clifford. ‘’Do you have a band-aid?”
“Is that what you really want to ask me?”answered Detective Reynolds.
“No, we have a gentleman that has stolen a really luxurious diamond in Los Angeles, California. The Beverly Hills Police Department needs us down there right away. So are you in?’’
‘’Sure but are you positive there’s no sight of paparazzi?’’
‘’I’m not promising anything.’’

3. ‘’HEY, come here! I booked us a flight 2,393 miles across the country,” Detective Clifford said.
‘’Okay I will pack my bags and we will be out of here in about 5 hours,” Detective Reynolds replied.
“Hey, but don’t you want to be at Hollywood sooner where the weather is eighty-nine degrees on Christmas day?”
“Well, okay, just let me pack my possessions and try to find my glove.”

When they arrived in California , they were worn-out, exhausted from their long flight. “Okay we are looking for a place called Pearly White’s,” said detective Reynolds. “I wonder if I have a piece of gum,” whispered detective Clifford.

5. When they arrived at the store, detective Reynolds sat down on a marvelous, modern, blue chair that was about three feet tall. Detective Clifford was looking at the case report of the crime.
“Wait look at that!” Detective Reynolds exclaimed. “ It’s the same burglar that has stolen that luxurious diamond.”

6. Detective Reynolds was astonished because that’s the whole entire reason why he and his friend really came down here.
“I never really thought a mystery can come to be this trouble-free!” said Detective Clifford.
“Hey, His name is Curry Groff, it says that on the man’s file”, the storekeeper interrupted.
“Okay, he looks very spooky and angry.”

7. Running very quickly, detective Reynolds tried to catch the thief
Running very quickly, detective Reynolds tried to catch the thief. A very detailed “Egyptian –like” card fell from his pocket. He wondered why and found out that he has a bottomless whole in his pocket. The Egyptian card had a little note on it. Here is what it said. “ I wonder if it is just a fancy receipt or something?” he asked himself.

The detective was so focused on the note that the thief got away. They hoped to find their thief again. But for now they have to do more research and check absolutely everything for fingerprints.

9. “Let’s go,” Detective Reynolds said.
ABOUT THREE YEARS LATER….
About three years later, they decided to give up. The guys felt like they really could not succeed with this and wanted to just go home.
“Let’s go,” Detective Reynolds said.
“ Where?” asked Detective Clifford.
“We’re going to the police department to tell them that we are continuing the job.”
So the detective’s walked a mile and decide to continue their very important journey.
