You may be asked about the following topics in your exam. First we need to understand the words that might be used. Watch the clips below to help you understand: What sustainability mean? What renewable and non renewable mean?

2 Revision Task One How is Wood produced from a sustainable source?
TASK: Watch the clip below and answer the questions What does a managed forest mean? How do they produce their own power? Why are trees a renewable source? How is plastic produced and made? TASK: Watch the clip below and answer the questions. What is plastic made from? How do designers change the properties of the plastic to do a particular job? Does plastic come from a renewable source?

3 How is Metal produced made and recycled?
TASK: Watch the clip below and answer the questions. What is the raw material used to produce metal? How do they recycle the metal? What are the most common metals that are recycled? Is using metal environmentally friendly? Now you have learnt about the materials what could we use that is a renewable energy source? TASK: Find out what an Eco footprint is. TASK: Produce a mind map showing everything you have learnt. The next slide will teach you how to do one.
