My Family I have been married for 11 years to my husband Ben and we have a daughter named Alivia who is 7 and a son named Will who is 4. My Background Graduated from Blue Springs High School in I received my bachelors in early childhood and elementary education from UCM, my masters in teaching from Webster and my specialist degree in administration from UCM. My Experience This is my 11th year teaching and my 10th year at SPE. I taught kindergarten for 7 years. This is my fourth year teaching third grade!

Science and Social Studies on Fridays 3:50 – 4:05 Pack and Stack/Dismiss

Friday Folders Your child will have a Friday folder that will be sent home every Friday. This folder will contain important information and letters as well as behavior and academic progress reports. This folder needs to be signed and returned every Monday morning. Please sign every week! 

6 Expectations OUR SCHOOL EXPECTATIONS OUR Class EXPECTATIONS
B = Be responsible E = Expect your best S = Show safe behavior T = Treat others with respect **Students that break a rule will be asked to fill out a Think Sheet that needs to be signed by a parent/guardian and returned the next day** **Students that do not turn in homework will be asked to fill out a Responsibility sheet that needs to be signed by a parent/guardian and returned the next day** OUR Class EXPECTATIONS Follow directions first time given. Keep, hands, feet, and objects to self. Raise hand before speaking. Come to class prepared Be respectful to others. Classroom Incentives Students will earn reward tickets for things such as returning HW, planners, etc. on time. They can use them to purchase a variety of rewards. Reward Activities Your child will be able to participate in Power Hour once a month if he or she doesn’t have more than 5 responsibility or think sheets. Thanks for your help with this! 

7 Book Reports 16 Book Reports
16 Book Reports are due to earn a Reading Circle Certificate. This is an award received at the end of the year at the awards ceremony. Please be sure to sign before your child turns in report.
