5. Homework
Maths This is sent home on a Thursday and is due back on a Monday. Spellings These are sent home on a Friday and the children are tested the following Friday. Reading Please aim to read with your child daily. Children choose an activity to complete each week. We will change the books in school once a week and more if we can.

Reading Record Books For parents to record when they have read with their child.
Yellow Homework Book For recording any homework the children might like to do about their book. See prompt sheet to help.
Phonics Sometimes we will send extra sounds home to learn to help the children consolidate what they are learning in school.

8. The School Day & Before
Please ensure that your child does not play on the equipment before an after school. Bikes and scooters are to be walked off the premises.
In the morning, please feel free to come in and settle your child but we do shut the door at 8.50am to take the register.
School finishes at 3.15pm
and teachers will dismiss the children.
Arrange to meet us if you have any queries.
