8 School Attendance High Attendance Rate = Higher Achievement
Parents must communicate with school by calling the attendance hotline within 24 hours of an absence ( ) Extended absences should also be communicated with appropriate guidance counselor.

9 Attendance Policy/Procedures
Accountability- legally students need to attend school regularly and on time. Students who reach the hours equivalent of 10 days of absence must provide a physician’s excuse for any further absences or the absence will be considered unexcused. School will be monitoring student attendance closely. Especially unexcused tardies to school. Please utilize school transportation if eligible.

Focus on Respect, Responsibility, Safety Progressive discipline strategy Student conference, detentions, suspension Student Management Room/202 assists with student attendance, PBIS initiatives, tardy infractions and administers consequences for those students removed from a class. Goal is to reintegrate and learn from mistakes

11 Electronic Devices During the school day, the use of electronic devices will be prohibited. Devices should remain out of sight, LOCKED in locker or remain at home. Violations may result in device being confiscated and parent required to retrieve device at the school. Repeated violations may also result in student consequences
