Does anybody have any old shirts or aprons (children's and adults )that could be used for painting, baking in the Children's Work and Creche. They will be cut up and decorated, so please nothing you want back !

Dementia Workshop
Saturday 30th September
1:30-4:15pm at St Matthews Church, Chapel Allerton.
The workshop includes Dementia Friends Training plus Guest Speaker Gaynor Hammond on A Dementia Friendly Church and Community.
There will be information on signposting, memory and comfort aids, learning about setting up a memory café, as well as a Q&A with those diagnosed and those caring for them.
Cake and coffee also available.

Volunteering Opportunities with Refugees / Asylum Seekers:
Monday 9th October 6 - 7pm at Oak House, Park Lane, Leeds, LS3 1EL. Short power point presentation by City of Sanctuary about the range of volunteering opportunities in Leeds. All welcome to find out more -  just turn up.

This morning Mark Baxby will be leading our worship. After the break, Simon will be continuing our topic: ‘Vision On’. He will be speaking on ‘Open to God’. As it is the first Sunday of the month we will also be taking up an offering.

Book Group
This is the final call for you to join the Book Group. We are getting together to read Rob Bell's new book 'What is the Bible?' Starting on Thursday 19th October we will be meeting on alternate Thursday evenings until we finish the book! Come for 8pm to Model Farm, eat cake and enjoy the chat! If you would like to join then message Clare on to be included in the what's app communication, be great to see you.
