3 NOTE: In order to use the AccountChek services through the Encompass interface, your system admin has to make AccountChek available to your company, and a login must be created for you by the AccountChek team. Simple. Smart. Secure.

4 When your account is created on the AccountChek system, you will receive 2 emails.
You must log into the AccountChek system once via the link in order to activate your account. Simple. Smart. Secure.

5 Clicking on the link in your invite will take you to a login screen. Enter the username and password sent to you in the s. Simple. Smart. Secure.

6 The first time you log in, you will be prompted to choose your own password and security question. Once you have updated your password preferences, you may log in through Encompass. Simple. Smart. Secure.

7 1. 2. 3. If you ever forget your password, simply click the recover password link on the AccountChek login screen, enter your address, and then answer the security question. You will be ed a temporary password, and asked to set up a new password using the previous steps. Simple. Smart. Secure.

9 To place an order for AccountChek digital account verification services from inside the Encompass interface, first choose Order Verifications from your left-hand menu. Simple. Smart. Secure.

10 Choose AccountChek Verification of Assets VOA/VOD from the list of Providers.

11 Enter your AccountChek Username and Password and click the Authorize button. If you check the “Remember Me” option, your Username and Password will be saved. Simple. Smart. Secure.

12 Fill in any empty Customer Information fields
Fill in any empty Customer Information fields. Information available from the 1003 will be automatically filled in for you. Make sure the Borrower’s address is correct. They will receive an invitation to enroll their bank accounts at that address. Simple. Smart. Secure.

13 You can limit how many days of transaction history are included in the digital bank statements. Account History: Choose 60 days for purchase transactions and 30 days for refinance transactions days from the drop-down menu, or No Limit if you would like to see all transactions. Also choose the refresh period for the order – selecting 90 days will allow us to refresh the order for up to 90 days. Simple. Smart. Secure.

14 Up to 3 bank accounts from the borrower’s application will be automatically pulled into the form.

15 Clicking the “Add Account” button will allow you to enter more accounts. You are not limited on how many institutions can be added. To delete one before placing the order, simply click the “X”. Clicking “Submit” will place the order. Simple. Smart. Secure.

16 Choose the Financial Institution and enter the account number for each account that needs digital statements and verification reports NOTE: If the FI is not in the drop-down menu, it is not supported by the AccountChek System. Simple. Smart. Secure.

Clicking “Submit” will place the order. This sends a request to the Borrower to enroll the accounts you listed on the order. When reports are ready, you will be ed a notification. Simple. Smart. Secure.

20 The borrower logs in with the address that received the invite, the last 4 digits of their social security number, and with their prepopulated personal access code. They must accept terms of service before the Login in button becomes available. Simple. Smart. Secure.

21 The borrower chooses the account for which they want to start the enrollment process.

22 The borrower will choose the institution type – brokerages, investments, & insurance are found in the Other category Simple. Smart. Secure.

23 The borrower will enroll their account by entering their online banking credentials.

24 AccountChek will then authorize the connection to the financial institution

25 The borrower will see the list of their accounts at the financial institution and will choose an account to share with their lender. Simple. Smart. Secure.

26 When an account is shared, the borrower will be asked to verify the account type and possibly account holder names. Simple. Smart. Secure.

27 The borrower can choose to authorize another financial institution, or click Finish to complete the verification process. Simple. Smart. Secure.

28 When the enrollment is complete, the borrower is automatically logged out of the AccountChek system.
The AccountChek report is automatically generated, and once it is ready to be retrieved, you will receive an . Simple. Smart. Secure.

30 Clicking on the Retrieve Orders tab will show you any orders associated with that loan and their Status. Clicking on “Check Status” will check for any recent updates to the order. Simple. Smart. Secure.

31 You can hold your mouse over the order status to get more detail about what the status means.

32 When reports are ready, the “View” button becomes available
When reports are ready, the “View” button becomes available. This will let you view the VOA report before downloading it to the eFolder. Once you view the report, the “Download” button will let you download the reports to the eFolder. Simple. Smart. Secure.

33 If the order is still open, you can click the “Refresh” button to request an updated report.
To resend the invitation to the borrower, click the “Resend” button. To end the account refresh and close the order, click the “Close” button. Simple. Smart. Secure.

34 The reports will be placed into your eFolder under the label Verification of Assets VOA/VOD.

35 Reports can be viewed directly from the eFolder.

36 The VOD Report format follows the standardized 1006 Fannie Mae layout.
