4. The Catholic Church…  Believed that Aristotle was right when he said the earth was at the center of our solar system.

5. Galileo…  Used the telescope to prove that the sun is at the center of our solar system.

7. The Catholic Church…  Did not like that Galileo proved him wrong and tried to say that Galileo was crazy.
