2 Trend Line - a line that shows a positive or negative correlation between two sets of data. Negative correlation (-1) Positive correlation (1) The data is not linear, but has a pattern that is some what linear. No correlation (0) Line of best fit – the trend line that shows the relationship between two sets of data most accurately.
